Bangkok - Day 2

In an attempt to be pampered by beautiful nurses Kiki decided to stand on a dog's tail and get bitten last night (see picture of rather calm looking dog below). So this morning's first task was to get through the monsoon to the hospital. The ferry across the river was exciting and being across the river in a new part of town was even more. Hospital was fun, people very friendly, and kiki well cared for. Ate lots of fruit and lovely juice, but still think papaya smells funny.
Came back to Hotel after hospital and met seppy and decided as we were leading such stressful lives we need a Thai massage. Various Tuktuk drivers tried to convince us this wasn't a good idea, as What Pho was shut or we weren't dressed apropriately bla bla and that we'd be better off going to see something else in their tuktuk. But we made it nevertheless and saw the very long golden reclining buddha and had an hour of thai massage after. kiki fell asleep and the poor masseuse was having a hard time trying to get him to sit up.
We had dinner in Chinatown, which was very busy, very loud, very spicy and very tasty. On the way back we finally gave in to a tuktuk after haggling out a reasonable price and the ride was actually good fun.
